Strange Land

A poem about the power of love and forgiveness when we open our hearts to God. Lyrics that resonate with the soul and how it is touched by music. Poetry to beckon the Spirit within us and to help us soar when we feel like Stranger’s in a strange land.

Stranger in a strange land

Pilgrim band sitting on shifting sand

Wordlessly caring for souls forgotten

Great wrestlers of heavens’ door

Illuminating the musical score

How to tell the spell

Well cast by angels bell

Quest for gathering the Hunter

Strange Bow found and built the shelter

Blues for sins hearts true sorrow

Fear not Spirit holds us today and tomorrow

Estimating studying the word of scripture

Simultaneously hearing soul musics’ picture

Astounding biblical lore revealing the obscure

Hearing sound doctrine in true religions score

Tantalizing hanging there the grapes come near

Holding on to reach kingdoms gold in my ear

Hearing the ringing symbols of  brass

The ring of losses or victories pass

Silver lining the dawn of the second

Split my understanding how time’s reckoned

Left a crater in my souls’ eye

A splinter that blocks the die

Snake eyes wisdom rolling thrice

Wake the flood waters

Stranger in a strange land

Pilgrim band sitting on shifting sand

Wordlessly caring for souls forgotten

Great wrestlers of heavens’ door

Illuminating the musical score

No match, no contest, no fear

Though lost every battle tear

No doubt who will win the war

Love always love all ways the avatar

Forgiveness the key to the highway

By the way strangers say angels sway

Visiting the strange in the strange land

Oh my oh my my strange land
